View Current OpeningsAfter you apply, the review process kicks off with our Global Talent Acquisition Team. Once a Talent Acquisition Partner reviews your application and resume, they will determine based on the minimum qualifications for a job which candidates move foward for the hiring team to review. Then, the hiring team conducts their review to determine which applicants will proceed forward to the interview stage. If there is interest in moving foward, this is also the stage that you might participate in a phone screen interview with the Talent Acquisition Partner or a member of the hiring team!
Interviews are a two way street at RTI! While we are learning more about your skills and qualifications, you're also able to ask questions and assess what it might be like to work in the position and at RTI. RTI is dedicated to providing an inclusive and equitable interview process for all candidates.
Once all interviews are completed, the hiring team will make a hiring decision. If an offer is in order, the Talent Acquisition Team or Hiring Manager will contact you via phone to provide offer details verbally. From there, you'll receive a full written offer and benefits package to review and sign off on. If accepted, we send a big CONGRATS and share next steps for your journey to becoming an RTI Difference Maker.
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I do to make sure my application stands out?
We do our best to give each and every application equal attention during the review process. There are a few things to consider though when crafting your resume that could help your application stick out. Start out by reviewing the job posting thoroughly. From there, ensure you are highlighting the relevant skills and experiences that you have that are featured in the job description. It can also be helpful to share supporting documents, such as a cover letter, that allows you further explain your interest in the role and how your experience aligns with it. Lastly, if you have a LinkedIn profile or a personal website showcasing you work, include the link to that as well!
Who would I address a cover letter to?
To maintain employee privacy, we do not share the names publicly of the Talent Acquisition team members or the hiring team members therefore, it's best to address with the letter with "Dear Hiring Team" or "Dear Hiring Manager".
What is the timeline to hear back on my application(s)?
After you submit an application, you'll receive an automatic confirmation email from RTI letting you know that your application was received. You are also welcome to check back by logging into your candidate profile at any time to see if your status has been updated. On average though, you can expect to hear from the Talent Acquisition Team in roughly 2-4 weeks regarding your status.
Will I speak with a recruiter?
Maybe! Due to the high volume of applications we recieve for our open job opportunities, our Talent Acquisition Partners are unfortuantely not able to reach out to everyone via phone. If there is interest moving foward with your application, you may receive a phone call or email directly. If not, you will receive an email confirming that we will not be moving foward with your application.
What if I experience technical issues submitting my application?
If you experience technical issues while submitting your application, there are a couple quick tips to troubleshoot. First and foremost, make sure you are have stable internet connection. It is also ideal to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as those tend to be the most compatible browsers with our system.
What is the typical interview process at RTI?
Here at RTI our interview process does vary slightly from role to role, but for the most part, you can expect an initial phone interview screen with the Talent Acquisition Partner or a member of the hiring team. If you proceed forward after that, you'll most likely participate in a panel style interview (2-4 interview panelists) via a virtual/video conferencing platform. If the position you are interviewing for may be a leadership position, you may participate in an additional panel interview after the first panel interview is complete. To ensure that we are providing an inclusive and equitable interviewing process, we also focus on asking questions that are competency based and the same list of questions is used with each candidate.
How do I prepare for an interview?
Great question and we have a few tips! It's definitely helpful to show that you did a little research about RTI and overall know what our organization does. We also recommend having a brief introduction prepared, so when the hiring team introduces themselves and asks you to do the same you don't feel caught offguard! Lastly, and more logistically, review your resume and any other supporting materials such as the job posting in advance so you can truly highlight your qualifications.
What is the timeline to interview?
Here at RTI our interview timeline does vary slightly from role to role, but for the most part, we try to conduct the initial phone screen interview and the actual panel interview within roughly 4 weeks weeks of each other.
How do I know if jobs are remote friendly?
There are two ways to check for this! We will include information in the job title or job posting that calls out if a job is remote friendly and visa versa if there are specific office locations a job may need to be located at. You can also filter jobs on our career site by the "Remote" location as that will show any and all opportunities that are remote friendly.
Does RTI offer visa sponsorship?
RTI does offer visa sponsorships. However, we do have some positions that will note in the Qualifications section of the job posting if they do not offer visa sponsorship, so please review that information as you look at open opportunities.
